Double Irish Chain is one of the easiest pieced quilts to make. If you’ve never tried double Irish chain before, this one is a good place to start. The instructions are very easy to follow, and the quilt top is quick to put together.

We have added appliqued bluebirds and appliqued hexagons to the “white spaces” and borders on this quilt. The kit contains the pre-printed hexagon fabric, but if you prefer to stitch your own hexagons, there is a template in the pattern for hexies the correct size for this quilt.

Ideal as a table-topper, sofa throw, or single bed topper, this quilt is very versatile.
