Simple to make Tote Bag with flat bottom, this is a project you can make in an afternoon. Size: 16″ wide x 12″ high x 3 1/2″ deep. (41cm x 30.5cm x 9cm)
This version of the design has a front pocket, suitable for a phone if you stitch in the compartments, or simply leave as a wide, shallow pocket. It is made in an exclusive Antique Floral from Lecien, a fabric that is no longer available for shops to purchase. We have some in stock at the moment from a previous fabric order.
The kit includes all the fabrics, including lining, and, as an introductory bonus, we are including the Nottingham lace, fusible bias tape, and an antique-style button, at no extra charge.
You will also need bag wadding or bosal for the main part of the bag as well as heavy duty fusible webbing such as Heat ‘n Bond or vliesifix for the handles.
