This wonderful product makes the process of embroidery much easier.  It is a firm and stable backing, is fusible, and, being 100% cotton, can be ironed onto the back of the work, and  the work can be pressed from the back once the embroidery is finished.  It assists greatly in holding the work firm and is almost as effective as using a hoop.
