This beautiful, classical quilt design was originally made in soft smoky mauve colours, reminiscent of an afternoon in the rose arbour spent enjoying freshly baked scones and sipping Earl Grey tea.
Our latest version has a more dramatic twist in its fabric range ~ a soft buttery cream, with a rich plum accent. The quilt celebrates our love of cake and tea, epitomised by the centre block, which is a variation on the original design.
The quilt, sized at 75″ (190cm) square, consists of nine embroidered/appliqued blocks, with broderie perse roses to highlight the theme. These are bordered by coordinating fabrics. The first border just brings together the beauty of these blocks ~ an irresistible fabric in butter tones with scatterings of rose bouquets and trails of smaller roses and vines meandering across the warm background. Framing the entire design is a lovely fabric again with butter background, featuring appliqued hearts in the rich plum that forms the perfect accent to this quilt.
Block of the Month price includes the pattern and fabric for the quilt top and binding.

Good post and straight to the point. I don’t know if this is really the best
place to ask but do you guys have any thoughts on where to
hire some professional writers? Thanks 🙂 Escape rooms hub
